All people have sin and come short of the grace of God. Humankind has been saved from their sins by the grace of God. The grace of God came through Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ died for the sins of the whole world. We believe that those who confess Jesus Christ as Lord, and believe in their heart that God raised Jesus from the dead shall be saved.
Jesus Christ is the second person of the Trinity. Jesus came to redeem the sins of humankind so that we can have eternal life. Jesus died for our sins and was raised from the dead on the third day so that those who believe and confess their sins will have everlasting life.
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. The Holy Spirit was given to us by God to give us power to be his witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8.
New Life Community United Methodist Church believes that God's grace is universal and available to all persons. In the Methodist tradition, it is understood as manifested in three actions. Prevenient Grace, Justifying (saving) Grace, and Sanctifying Grace. John Wesley believed that these are the stages on the journey toward salvation made possible by God's grace.
